Role Summary: Manager /Sr. Manager– IT procurements

Responsible for leading and managing procurement activities related to IT hardware software services and infrastructure. This role ensures that the organization acquires technology assets and services at optimal cost quality and delivery timelines while maintaining compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Procurement

Ensure IT procurements aligned with organizational technology goals and budgets.

Collaborate with IT leadership to forecast technology requirements and plan procurement accordingly.

2. Vendor Management

Identify evaluate and manage IT vendors and suppliers including hardware manufacturers software providers and service consultants.

Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key IT suppliers to ensure cost-eHective and reliable service and for Continues improvement.

Conduct vendor assessments negotiations and contract renewals.

3. Procurement Operations

Oversee the procurement of IT products and services including hardware software licenses cloud services network solutions and maintenance agreements.

Manage the lifecycle of technology assets including procurement deployment and disposal.

Optimize procurement processes to reduce costs while maintaining quality and compliance.

4. Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies IT governance frameworks and legal requirements.

Mitigate risks related to IT procurement such as data security vendor lock-in and service disruptions.

5. Cost Management and Optimization

Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to achieve cost savings without compromising service quality.

Monitor IT procurement budgets and provide regular updates to senior management.

6. Reporting and Analytics

Utilize procurement data and analytics to track IT spending identify cost-saving opportunities and measure supplier performance.

Provide detailed reports to IT and executive leadership on procurement activities and outcomes.

Qualications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related eld (Master’s preferred).

7-8 years of progressive experience in procurement with a focus on IT procurement for at least 3 years.

Deep understanding of IT products and services including hardware software cloud solutions and managed services.

Prociency in procurement software and IT tools Strong negotiation analytical and problem-solving skills.
