Job Title: Structural Fitter/Welder
Pay: $20$24/hour BOE
Location: Tulsa OK
Shift: MondayThursday (10-hour shifts) or MondayFriday (8-hour shifts)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Structural Fitter/Welder to join a reputable Tulsa-based company specializing in large-scale welded structures. The ideal candidate will have 23 years of experience in structural welding and fitting the ability to read and interpret blueprints and hands-on knowledge of I-beam fabrication. This Structural Fitter/Welder position requires successful completion of a Fluxcore vision and code test and includes operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
Required Experience & Skills
23 years of experience in structural welding and fitting
Ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and general weld procedures (AWS D1.1)
Familiarity with I-beam sizes ranging from 6x25 to 12x50
Experience working on finished units ranging from 8 x 20 to 16 x 50
Overhead crane and forklift operation required
Must pass an open book written test (Structural Fitter)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As a Structural Fitter/Welder your responsibilities will include:
Performing structural welds on beams and pipe using Fluxcore process
Passing a weld test that includes:
- Fluxcore vision test on beam and pipe
- Uphill overhead and flat welding on beam
- Flat welding on pipe
- 3G double bevel on 1 plate (butted up) carbon arc back then fill and cap in the same 3G position
- Welds will be tested per code
Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and project specifications
Adhering to safety procedures while operating tools and equipment
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed with or without assistance
Must be able to stand bend kneel and climb throughout the shift
Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
