Pay: $24.40 $30.00 BOE
Location: Sand Springs OK
Shift: Weekend Nights 6:00 PM 6:00 AM (includes Fri Sat Sun 23 weekdays)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fitter to join our clients team in Sand Springs. The Fitter will be responsible for the precise assembly and fitting of pressure vessels and heat exchangers according to specifications and codes. As a Fitter you must bring strong blueprint reading skills welding knowledge and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform fitting of metal components to meet standards codes and specifications for pressure vessels and heat exchangers
- Apply knowledge of thermal cutting and welding processes
- Read and interpret AutoCAD prints for dimensions and requirements
- Proficiently operate oxy/fuel cutting torches and Plas-Arc machines
- Perform tack welding per code and within procedure requirements
- Maintain less than a 5% fit-up rejection rate
- Collaborate with team members to achieve company goals and deadlines
- Safely execute tasks with minimal supervision and maintain a clean safe work area
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience fitting pressure vessels and heat exchangers
- Strong blueprint reading skills and ability to interpret specifications
- Above average math skills and understanding of geometry
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team player
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and leadership skills
- Dependable punctual and flexible to work non-standard schedules as needed
