Position Overview
We are currently hiring an experienced Assembly Technician for a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for motivated individuals who want to grow with a company and enjoy working in a collaborative goal-driven environment. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical and electrical components interpreting technical documentation and ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
Required Experience & Skills
High School Diploma or GED required
Proven work experience in mechanical assembly and electrical wiring
Experience using hand and power tools
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Familiarity with riveting and assembly of mechanical components
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs as needed
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and prolonged periods of standing or sitting
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As an Assembly Technician your responsibilities will include:
Using tools to build or repair parts and products
Interpreting technical documents such as schematics blueprints or verbal instructions
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Meeting all company and industry safety standards
Assisting with repair and maintenance tasks
Documenting test procedures results and observations
Riveting and assembling electrical and mechanical components
Using critical thinking and problem-solving to resolve issues as they arise
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This is a safety-sensitive position which includes tasks that may affect the safety or health of the employee or others. Responsibilities may involve:
Handling packaging processing storing or transporting hazardous materials
Operating motor vehicles machinery or power tools
Monitoring or maintaining critical systems utilities or manufacturing equipment
Working with potentially flammable combustible or volatile materials
Performing assembly tasks requiring frequent standing bending squatting and climbing throughout 95% of a typical shift
Preferred Education
High School Diploma or GED
