Pay: $18$26/hour DOE
Location: East Tulsa OK
Shift: MondayFriday 5:00 AM 4:30 PM (Saturdays as needed; must be open to overtime)

Position Overview
We are currently hiring an experienced Auxiliary Pipe Technician for a leading natural gas equipment manufacturer in East Tulsa. This position is responsible for fabricating assembling and installing piping systems and auxiliary components for natural gas compressor packages. The Auxiliary Pipe Technician plays a vital role in ensuring systems are installed efficiently accurately and according to industry standards.
Required Experience & Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Technical certification in pipefitting plumbing or a related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in piping preferably in the oil and gas or natural gas industries
Proficiency in reading blueprints P&IDs and piping specifications
Skilled with pipefitting tools such as threading machines pipe benders and cutting tools
Basic knowledge of hand tools
Ability to work independently or within a team
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As an Auxiliary Pipe Technician your responsibilities will include:
Reading and interpreting blueprints P&IDs and technical documentation to determine pipe layout and specifications
Measuring cutting and threading pipe (typically 2 diameter up to 20 in length) using hand and power tools
Installing auxiliary piping systems including high-pressure gas lines water lines air systems and other support systems
Ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment of piping components to prevent leaks or failures
Troubleshooting and repairing piping systems during assembly for optimal performance
Assisting with tack welding or bolting of pipe sections for final welding
Marking pipes accurately for cutting and threading
Adhering to all company safety protocols and PPE requirements
Being punctual dependable and able to work unsupervised
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed with or without assistance
Must be able to stand for long periods
Able to bend kneel and climb as required
Work in a non-climate-controlled environment
