We re working with a cutting-edge games development studio making waves in the online slot games space. They re building a brand-new creative hub right here in Leeds and they re looking for a Senior 2D/3D Creative Concept & Production Artist/Animator to join their growing team.

This is a standout opportunity for a creative with vision someone who can take a game brief and bring it to life from scratch developing fully realised concepts and then helping deliver stunning assets and animations that players will love.

You ll collaborate across a tight-knit team of artists designers and developers crafting mobile-first titles for both internal and client platforms. From concept art to final polish you ll have a hand in every stage of the visual development process.

What You ll Do

Design and illustrate 2D/3D elements for slot games: symbols backgrounds UI animations FX

Create moodboards storyboards and concept visuals that define the look and feel of new titles

Own the concepting phase of projects ensuring creative ideas are production-ready

Deliver work across a range of genres from photorealistic to stylised (cartoon fantasy sci-fi etc.)

Collaborate with the art team and wider studio to align visuals with gameplay tone and technical limits

Optimise assets for performance without sacrificing visual quality

Contribute to internal reviews iterate based on feedback and support junior team members

Stay inspired keeping up with trends references and emerging tools (including AI workflows)

What We re Looking For

A strong portfolio showcasing a mix of concept art and production-ready 2D/3D assets (ideally for games or slots)

Proven experience taking game briefs from concept to delivery in a fast-paced production setting

Confident using Spine Photoshop Illustrator Blender Maya or similar tools

Solid grasp of animation principles rigging shading and lighting in both 2D and 3D

Understanding of modern pipelines and optimisation techniques

Experience with or openness to AI-based tools to enhance workflows

Strong communication and feedback-handling skills

Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Passion for games storytelling and visual craft
