Position Summary

The Talent and People Operations Partner is a key contributor to our award-winning people-focused culturehelping to craft meaningful candidate experiences and build high-performing teams. This role partners closely with hiring managers to develop and execute thoughtful recruitment strategies lead structured and inclusive interview processes and ensure every candidate interaction reflects the heart of our culture.

In addition to recruitment the Talent and People Operations Partner supports broader People Operations initiatives and leads the strategic use of our applicant tracking systemdriving continuous improvement through training process design and user support. This role requires a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail a collaborative working style and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace where employees feel recognized valued and equipped for success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full-cycle recruitment processfrom requisition to offerfor a wide range of roles across the organization. Help shape the future of our teams by attracting diverse high-performing talent that aligns with Builders values and goals.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their needs craft compelling job descriptions and build targeted recruitment strategies that deliver results.
  • Design creative sourcing approaches to connect with top talentleveraging tools like LinkedIn Recruiter industry networks job boards and social media to expand our reach and deepen our talent pipeline.
  • Champion an exceptional candidate experience at every stage of the process serving as a trusted partner and ambassador of Builders people-first culture.
  • Coordinate interviews and scheduling with care providing hiring managers with preparation resources and ensuring timely thoughtful communication with all candidates.
  • Lead the offer process from start to finish including extending offers supporting negotiations and overseeing the completion of background checks and pre-employment steps.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within our applicant tracking system tracking key metrics to identify trends and offer insights that elevate our hiring strategy.
  • Contribute to People Operations initiatives beyond recruitmentsupporting onboarding employee relations and day-to-day HR operations. Provide guidance on policies and practices always keeping compliance and care at the forefront.
  • Stay curious and connected to the broader talent landscape by participating in professional development industry workshops and conferences to continuously grow your impact and expertise. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience; HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
  • Experience in the insurance industry with a passion for creating exceptional employee experiences preferred
  • Five or more years of progressive experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on recruiting and talent acquisition; knowledge of Human Resource best practices employment law and regulatory compliance
  • Experience successfully recruiting for a wide range of roles within small or preferable mid-sized organizations with deep expertise in strategic souring techniques and tools
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication with a strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
  • Skill in negotiation relationship building and influencing stakeholders across all organization levels
  • Skill in time and organizational management with the ability to manage multiple priorities; detail oriented
  • Ability to problem solve with a proactive self-motivated and adaptable - hands-on approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experienced in leveraging applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms to enhance productivity and streamline processes
