JOB SUMMARY:
The Assembly/Disassembly Technician will learn all functions and responsibilities on the cylinder shop floor. The Assembly/Disassembly Technician is responsible for disassembling and assembling hydraulic cylinders for the purpose of rebuild/repair. The successful Technician will have knowledge of internal and external parts of hydraulic components and be familiar with how they work and operate as well as have knowledge of proper testing procedures. Safety is of utmost priority as is the desire for further training and development.
COMPETENCIES:
The individual must be competent in the use of wrenches air tools torque wrenches acetylene torches and hydraulically operated equipment such as shop press/power pack and overhead/jib cranes. Ability to read mics gauges measuring tools and work from blueprints. Interpersonal Skills good communication team orientation and good customer service skills are necessary. Needs to be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have very good time management skills.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High School education or equivalent experience in a job shop environment dealing with heavy equipment etc. is a plus.

Repetitive Motions: Frequent movement requiring hands wrists and fingers.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
