Job Description
As a Senior Data/Analytics Engineer you will:
- Design build and maintain data pipelines that support AI-driven applications particularly for ingestion into Azure Search Index.
- Optimize search parameters to enhance RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and rank-based evaluations contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of AI models.
- Utilize Document Intelligence Services to extract insights from a variety of document formats.
- Integrate with OpenAI APIs to support the development of advanced AI features and tools.
- Work in a fast-paced multicultural environment contributing to the success of cross-functional AI initiatives.
- 10 years of professional experience in Data Engineering roles with a strong foundation in data architecture and modeling.
- Proven expertise in Python and Databricks for large-scale data manipulation analysis and engineering tasks.
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services preferably holding the Azure Infrastructure Associate Certification.
- Deep understanding of data integration AI model support infrastructure and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and related data processing frameworks.
- Work autonomously on complex data problems while maintaining alignment with team strategies and technical direction.
- Identify innovative scalable solutions when faced with technical or architectural challenges.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate in a multilingual multicultural team environment.
- Rapidly adapt to evolving AI and data engineering technologies and best practices.
