SSWG operates two businesses within the water infrastructure space. Seven Seas Water which provides water treatment and desalination for governmental hospitality and industrial customers in United States Latin America and the Caribbean and the AUC Group () which provides decentralized water and wastewater treatment plants for industrial and municipal customers in the United States.

Job Summary
The Corporate Development Manager will lead the Corporate Development function and report directly to the SVP Business Development & Product Marketing. This function plays a vital role in driving both organic and inorganic growth across Seven Seas Water Group supporting the companys strategic priorities and execution efforts.
The role encompasses end-to-end responsibility for project financial modeling investment case development internal approvals and participates in contract negotiations. It also contributes to the companys strategic planning process and supports M&A partnerships and other growth initiatives. The Corporate Development Manager will work cross-functionally with business development engineering operations finance and legal teams to build and validate financial models develop proposal inputs and drive projects from lead qualification through execution.
A deep understanding of the Water-as-a-Service model customer needs market dynamics and risk evaluation is essential. The successful candidate will support both organic and inorganic growth opportunities conducting due diligence profitability assessments and risk analysis. They will participate in all stages of the process from opportunity origination and evaluation to contract or transaction execution. Additional responsibilities include contributing to market research and strategic growth initiatives.

Build and maintain project financial models including scenario and risk analysis
Support pricing structuring and contract negotiations for customer proposals
Develop and present investment cases proposals and internal approval materials such as reports presentations and investment memos for senior leadership and the board.
Oversee and develop a team and project-manage cross-functional personnel on strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with BD engineering operations finance and legal to evaluate and advance growth initiatives
Lead due diligence valuation and deal execution for M&A partnerships and strategic investments
Conduct market research to identify and assess organic and inorganic growth opportunities
Participate in the drafting and negotiation of term sheets IOIs/LOIs and contracts
Improve and standardize internal processes tools and best practices for strategic execution
Ensure alignment with company policies tax audit and compliance standards
Build and maintain relationships with partners investors and other key stakeholders
Participate in other ad hoc strategic analysis and activities
Qualification/Requirements:
Financial modeling/valuation experience including:
DCF M&A LBO and project finance models.
Ability to review and model out contractual commercial terms.
Strong understanding of financial statements accounting and transaction structuring.
Ability to research and analyze a prospective opportunity be it an asset or company and make a strategic recommendation on whether to move forward with an acquisition based on analysis of financials valuation strengths risks mitigants synergies contracts economic impact.
Ability to translate research and analysis into digestible format (Excel and PowerPoint) to produce investment memoranda and supporting analyses to be presented to C-level management and board of directors.
Assist the Business Development team in responding to Request For Proposals (RFPs) by producing qualitative and quantitative text and illustrations that increase the quality of the proposals.
Education/Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a finance accounting or economics degree with 1-3 years work experience in a related role. Candidates with an advanced business degree (MBA MSF) a plus. It would be desirable if the candidate has experience in investment banking private equity or M&A. General understanding of accounting and economics is necessary. Working knowledge of Spanish would also be a plus. Incumbent should be proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products (Word Excel PowerPoint). A high degree of professionalism and proven ability to complete tasks independently and on time with a high degree of thoroughness strong communication and accuracy is required.
