The People and Change function forms part of our Customer and Business Support service area. The Team provides a high quality strategic support function as part of our Customer and Corporate Services Directorate.
The Programmes and Change Team form a significant part of our People and Change function having a critical role in supporting and enabling the business to deliver on its most complex and challenging business change priorities. The team works closely with all areas of the organisation to deliver the organisations Target Operating Model and Transformation activity.
As the role of the team is to lead this transformation it is critical that we model the changes we wish to see and working with senior stakeholders to enable them to secure the changes they want to see and to make those changes sustainable. You will join a diverse team with a range of skills and expertise in a kind and supportive environment. We are future focussed with lots of energy to make change happen and continually improve including adopting and practicing new ways of working.
This role will play important part in driving the Organisations transformation and enabling our journey towards the Council we Need.
About the Role
The Project Manager will work closely with the cross-service housing Demand Management Delivery Group (DMDG) which brings together stakeholders from the Community Wellbeing and Sustainable Growth & Place directorates. The group is tasked with delivering a prioritised programme of interventions drawn from the Housing Demand Management Strategy and the Housing Options Service transformation programme. Workstreams include Prevention Income Collection Housing Supply Private Rental Sector Move-On and Commissioning.
