Job description
Framatome Ltd delivery organisation is structured in 3 Business Lines (BL) New Build Projects Engineering Projects and Existing Fleet Services.

The role of the QHSE Supplier Auditor shall ensure compliance with Quality Health Safety and Environmental (QHSE) standards within the nuclear industry supply chain. This role involves conducting supplier audits aligned with ISO standards and UK regulatory requirements considering the scope of supply the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP) and/or the General Quality Assurance Specification (GQAS) to ensure suppliers meet contractual and industry obligations.
The auditing activity will support the supply chain process in onboarding new suppliers and ensure suitable compliance to standards and project requirements during the contract phase
Profile
Supplier Audits & Compliance
- Plan and execute supplier audits in accordance with ISO regulations ranging from ISO 9001 (Quality Management) ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) to ISO 19443 (Quality Management for Nuclear Suppliers).
- Relevant UK nuclear and safety regulations (e.g. ONR guidance UK Nuclear Site Licence Conditions)
- Assess supplier quality management systems environmental policies and health & safety procedures in alignment with ISO standards and project-specific requirements in relation to the scope of supply and specific project documentation.
- Evaluate supplier manufacturing inspection testing and material traceability processes based on contractual scope of supply and UK nuclear safety standards.
- Verify supplier compliance with nuclear-specific documentation and record best practices.

Required Attributes:
- Proven experience as a QHSE Auditor or Supplier Quality Auditor in the nuclear industry or another highly regulated sector (e.g. aerospace defence energy).
- Strong knowledge of UK nuclear quality assurance and safety standards (e.g. ISO 19443 ONR guidance Nuclear Site Licence Conditions).
- Experience conducting audits against ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 integrating project-specific quality requirements.
- Familiarity with supply chain risk management in a safety-critical industry.
- Ability to interpret and audit against technical documentation including PQMP GQAS and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent report writing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 9001 as a minimum.
- NEBOSH General Certificate Level 3.
- Willingness to travel for supplier audits (domestic and international).
- Problem solving techniques.
- Experience in highly regulated industries. Experience of Nuclear industry is highly desirable.
- Understanding of the key attributes of nuclear safety culture.
- Demonstrable field engagement (sites and workshop).
- Knowledge of performance management techniques and/or route cause analysis techniques (FMEA A-Z 5 Whys LEAN Six Sigma).
- The ability to work with minimum supervision and intervention.
- Security clearance or eligibility for clearance to work on UK nuclear projects.
