• Hours:20 hours per week 5 days per week 52 weeks per year (there is flexibility around the hours/weeks)

Purpose of the Job

To maintain the security care and availability of the school building furniture fittings equipment to ensure a satisfactory physical environment and to promote the efficient use of the schools assets to support the educational objectives of the school.

You will have:

• a good knowledge of health and safety regulations although training will be given
• the ability to work flexibly independently and as part of a team
• basic DIY skills
• the ability to plan organise and prioritise
• the ability to carry out general and specific cleaning duties as directed
• a commitment to acting with integrity honesty loyalty and fairness to safeguard the assets financial probity and reputation of the school
• the ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
• computer knowledge
• a commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times and to safeguarding and equality
• the ability to work flexibly and out of school hours as required and in agreement with the Headteacher.
