Job Description

Are you a motivated leader with a strong commitment to safety community engagement and customer service Were looking for a Network Officer Supervisor to lead a team of 25 Network Officers who help keep Queenslands public transport system safe efficient and customer-focused.

About the Role

As a Network Officer Supervisor you will provide day-to-day leadership and support to a dedicated team responsible for ensuring a safe and seamless experience for passengers across the bus and wider public transport network. You will play a key role in maintaining network integrity improving fare compliance and partnering with agencies to uphold safety and service standards.

Youll be responsible for guiding and supporting your team in the following core functions:

  • Oversee revenue protection activities in line with relevant legislation and internal strategies.
  • Support the team to perform ticket checks issue infringement/warning notices and prepare accurate reports on fare evasion trends.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners such as Queensland Rail local councils and the Queensland Police Service to ensure consistent and fair enforcement.
  • Drive a proactive safety-first culture among the team.
  • Support and coach your team in managing conflict with professionalism and integrity.
  • Prepare and oversee the preparation of detailed accurate and honest reports on incidents.

About you

  • Strong interpersonal and community engagement skills including the ability to communicate effectively across diverse backgrounds.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to interpret and apply legislation.
