Job Description
For over 35 years Lyle Machinery Co. has been a diversified equipment dealer while fostering a supportive and balanced culture to accomplish our shared values. With several locations across MS AL LA FL and TX LMC performs service and repairs both on-site and in the field in addition to the sales leases and rentals of heavy and compact equipment.
Not only have we been the #1 Komatsu Market Share Dealer in North America for the past 9 years but we have also been Dealer of the Year for many of our other OEMs with whom weve partnered. As we continue to grow we are looking for HIGH-energy self-motivated employees who work well with others and/or independently in a safe manner and were willing to train you!
Due to our steady growth we are looking to add Technicians to our team.
Duties:
- Diagnosis and repair electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic issues with machinery
- Read and understand machine schematics
- Fabricate and weld as necessary for task completion
- Follow federal and shop safety guidelines and protocol
- Ability to recondition and repair equipment and components
- Communicate with management and other departments to ensure quality work and customer satisfaction
- Complete necessary paperwork for warranty and shop compliance
- Other work-related duties as assigned by manager
- Ability to see in full range color
- Ability to knee bend twist lift and squat to service equipment on the ground
- Must have excellent hand dexterity to include firm grasping
- Ability to lift push and pull up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work in any weather environment
- Occasional exposure to loud noises
