You will analyse client requirements design and implement data management and analytics solutions and provide training and support for effective utilisation of SAP data and analytics tools. Working in this area you will work closely with clients to understand their data needs develop data models perform data analysis and create visualisations and reports to support data-driven decision-making helping them optimise their data management processes enhance data quality and derive valuable insights from their data to achieve their strategic objectives.

Job Title: SAP BODS Consultant
Location: India Hyderabad/Bengaluru
Job Summary:
The SAP BODS Lead is responsible for leading the design development and implementation of data integration solutions using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand data requirements ensuring data quality and integrity and optimizing data processes. The successful candidate will also lead a team of BODS developers and act as a subject matter expert in data integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of ETL processes using SAP BODS to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts data architects and stakeholders to gather and analyze data integration needs.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Optimize data extraction transformation and loading processes for efficiency and performance.
- Manage and mentor a team of BODS developers providing technical guidance and support.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including data mappings workflows and design specifications.
- Monitor ETL processes and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operation.
- Stay current with SAP BODS updates and industry best practices to propose enhancements and improvements.
- Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure integration solutions align with overall IT architecture and strategy.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) including design and implementation.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of developers.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with SAP HANA SAP BW or other SAP-related technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other data integration tools and platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data integration solutions.
- Certification in SAP BODS or related SAP technologies.
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
