Communications & Client Services Manager Summary:
The Communications & Client Services Manager plays a key role in driving internal alignment and enhancing the external client experience across all customer touchpoints. This individual will oversee company-wide communications customer event planning and strategic client engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with excellent planning skills a strong customer service mindset and experience managing projects and vendors. This role requires close collaboration with executive leadership HR marketing sales and operations teams.
Duties/ Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Events
  • Plan organize and manage customer-facing events including trade shows client appreciation events lunch & learns and annual gifting programs.
  • Lead all event logistics: site selection vendor negotiation budgeting promotional material coordination and post-event follow-up.
  • Serve as the internal lead for coordinating customer holiday gifting across markets and client segments working with Sales Ops and fulfillment teams.
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of customer engagement touchpoints in partnership with sales teams to ensure regular meaningful client contact.
Internal & Executive Communications
  • Partner with HR to produce a monthly company-wide communication highlighting new hires role changes retirements and other personnel updates.
  • Lead quarterly communications initiative by scheduling and conducting one-on-one update sessions with each Executive Team member and Presidents. Compile updates on strategic initiatives key metrics and milestones into an employee-facing summary.
  • Draft and distribute internal communications on behalf of senior leadership ensuring consistent voice clarity and alignment with company goals.
  • Maintain and update company communication templates messaging playbooks and communication cadences.
Vendor & Marketing Partnership Management
  • Serve as the primary liaison to external vendors supporting communications marketing and promotional events.
  • Ensure vendor deliverables are aligned with brand standards timelines and budget requirements.
  • Coordinate development and distribution of client-facing materials in collaboration with internal marketing leads and vendor partners.
Residential Storm Response Support
  • Serve as a liaison between sales teams and insurance companies during residential storm response events.
  • Coordinate customer communication strategies during high-volume storm seasons ensuring service consistency and professionalism.
  • Support tracking of inbound leads and customer service needs specific to storm-related sales.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in communications and customer experience.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and special projects as assigned by the Director of Customer Excellence.
  • Develop and refine SOPs and workflows to streamline communication and engagement processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing Public Relations or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in corporate communications or customer service roles.
  • Exceptional writing editing and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience working across multiple departments and managing vendor relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Teams and communication platforms such as Mailchimp Loomly or similar.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and follow-through.
