The Energy group collaborates with clients and key stakeholders to identify opportunities to become Future Energy ready by providing innovative solutions to adopt sustainable practices transition from traditional energy sources and invest in renewable energy.
We have opportunities for Renewable Energy experts to join our Power Generation team in the areas of BESS hydrogen and Wind to join the team youll help drive the strategy and shape the future success for the entire group with your industry leading knowledge and industry connections.
This role will see you collaborating with industry experts across the country and key to your success will be your commitment towards understanding client requirements whilst driving collaboration to deliver innovative solutions to meet the market challenges.
Joining this team will also see you;
Working autonomously to grow the business and capability across the group
Leading and winning proposals leading and delivering projects
Mentoring team members in your area of expertise
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for a diverse range of energy projects
Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders across GHD.

What you will bring to the team:
More than 10 years of industry experience consulting experience preferred (Optional item for consideration)
You will have as minimum a degree qualification in Electrical Engineering and either have or be actively working towards Chartered status (e.g. CPEng RPEQ)
Significant experience in renewable energy project delivery focusing on electrical engineering design
A passion for delivering renewable power generation and associated asset design i.e. large-scale wind and solar and battery storage and associated substation and transmission line design
Experience working in a fast-paced EPC or consulting environment including working closely with clients contractors equipment suppliers and/or project developers.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external clients clearly and concisely
