About the Role
Were looking for a Senior Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to join our Platform team. This role will play a key part in scaling and evolving our infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support the next phase of TxODDSs growth. Youll work closely with software engineers data teams and product stakeholders to ensure our systems are robust secure and high-performing.

What Youll Do:
In this role youll take ownership of key responsibilities that help drive team and business success. Your day-to-day will include:

• Designing building and maintaining scalable infrastructure across AWS environments
• Improving CI/CD pipelines to support faster safer deployments
• Leading infrastructure automation and configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying areas for improvement
• Supporting high-availability systems and ensuring disaster recovery plans are in place
• Collaborating with engineering teams to optimise deployment workflows and system architecture
• Managing secrets access controls and security best practices across environments
• Evaluating and integrating new tools and technologies to improve platform reliability
• Participating in incident response and postmortems to drive continuous improvement
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to DevOps best practices across the company

What Youll Bring:
Were looking for someone with the skills experience and mindset to thrive in this role. Ideally youll have:

• Strong experience with AWS infrastructure and services
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions Jenkins) and containerisation (Docker Kubernetes)
• A proactive approach to monitoring alerting and incident management
• Strong scripting skills (e.g. Bash Python) and automation mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working in fast-paced high-growth tech environments
