Company: Visiting Angels - Home Care for Seniors
Position Type: Part-Time (20 hours/week) Temporary (6 months)
Location: Columbus Ohio
Position Summary
This is a 6-month temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance.
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for developing new business relationships with healthcare professionals senior centers Veteran organizations hospitals rehabilitation centers and other community partners with the guidance of the Executive Director. This individual plays a key role in driving business growth through strategic outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Executive Director to identify and develop new referral sources through both phone and in-person outreach
Schedule and attend in-person visits networking events and community meetings
Educate referral sources on the services we provide eligibility requirements and unique senior programs
Track outreach activities and leads in our CRM software (Pipedrive)
Represent Visiting Angels at health fairs expos and other relevant events
Collaborate with the Executive Director to ensure a smooth new partner onboarding process
Qualifications
Previous experience in healthcare senior services or sales preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational abilities
Comfortable with both cold calling and face-to-face interaction
Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly Pay: $20-30/hour based on experience
Commission based on billable hours produced
Mileage reimbursement
