Job Description:

The Integrated Marketing Planning team partners with our business units channels and marketing specialists to design world class marketing strategies and campaigns that drive shareholder value and customer loyalty. Our team acts as leaders on all aspects of marketing influencing the business strategy while ensuring TD brand is protected and delivered in the customer experience. As part of Marketing the Integrated Marketing Planning team operates in a Flexible Hybrid office model.

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager Music and Union Station Sponsorships the Marketing Manager will focus on developing marketing strategies executing sponsorship campaigns and building relationships with external properties to deliver KPIs. They will also act as a highly seasoned professional within their own area of specialty leading cross-functional teams or projects and manages the development and execution of marketing plans and programs by designing and delivering marketing solutions consistent with TDs marketing standards and strategies.

Marketing Strategies and Plans: Understand sponsorship industry and growth drivers develop a vision of market channel and segment potential help to develop value propositions and proof points that further our competitive advantage and translate business strategies into marketing plans.

Deliver and Monitor Results: Ensure stated objectives are delivered on plan and analyzes past results and makes recommendations to maximize ROI. Evaluate effectiveness of in market activity and effectively communicate the results

Consumer Insights and Trends: Leverage market research and apply customer insights to marketing campaigns/programs. Interpret the industry environment recommend course of action and best practices to improve products processes or services

Build and Protect the Brand: Ensure campaigns support the brand and are designed for a positive customer experience. Understand customer journeys and supports the business to deliver the brand through customer experience.

Analysis and Problem Solving: Use critical thinking to exercise judgement and identify the problem to solve engage stakeholders from different groups to gather data and draw insights from it. Leverage data combined with judgment and intuition to make recommendations and drive action.

Influencing and relationship management: Build and manage strong relationships with Agencies Business Units Marketing Partners Legal and Compliance and other internal teams to deliver effective marketing programs.

Budget and Project Management: Manage projects in the most effective way (on time on target on budget) from initiation to completion. Lead multi-functional teams and agency partners through the project. Track and manage budget against plan meeting all financial reporting requirements.

Expertise in sponsorship property management including contract compliance agreement negotiations marketing strategy builds event execution celebrity talent engagement and develop LOB integrations to support segment and business priorities driving strong brand and ROI outcomes.

Deep understanding of brand activation and marketing measurement tools and metrics with expertise in communicating concise and compelling insight-driven strategies.

Key contributor to property contract negotiation strategies managing sensitive data business case development and critically assessing new opportunities future-proofing the TD sponsorship roadmap endorsing a growth and profitable mindset for the bank.

Exceptional relationship maturity and communication skills with an ability to foster constructive and collaborative connections influence without authority driving progress efficiencies and trust with external property leaders creative and media agency partners internal executive stakeholders TD legal and COEs.

Knowledge of the competitive sponsorship landscape and a strong understanding of innovation trends in order to identify unique opportunities and engage fans in new and breakthrough ways.

Job Requirements

Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications designations or equivalent required

7 years relevant experience

A self-motivator with excellent organizational and communications skills to influence prioritize and multi-task in a collaborative or independent setting

Advanced knowledge of multiple marketing principles and disciplines strategy development consulting principles lines of businesses supported and product/customer markets and proven ability to drive business results

Experienced in relationship management work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions including agency and internal partners

Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
