Job Description

About the role

Were looking for a proactive and detail-driven Project Analyst to join our Projects team. Working closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and project managers in delivering a diverse portfolio of capital and infrastructure projects. Youll help drive accurate reporting maintain governance documentation and contribute to improved delivery through well-established project controls and coordination.

This role supports the delivery of Huons capital works program by coordinating reporting maintaining governance documentation and assisting with project planning and controls. The position would suit an existing project coordinator who is interested in furthering their career to work across a portfolio of projects

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute project reports dashboards and executive updates
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of PMO frameworks templates and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation registers and records in line with PMO standards.
  • Track project activities risks issues and changes across multiple projects
  • Assist with scheduling planning and reporting for capital works delivery
  • Monitor risks issues and change controls - escalating where necessary.
  • Coordinate project meetings take minutes and follow up on action items
  • Identify trends and contribute ideas to improve PMO systems and processes

What youll bring

  • Experience in project coordination project controls or PMO supportideally in capital works or infrastructure environments.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive solutions-focused mindset.
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • A team-focused attitude and commitment to upholding governance
  • Qualifications or certifications in project management (e.g. PMP are a plus
  • A genuine focus on safety continuous improvement and sustainability
