Job Description:
The Sr. Metering Engineer will act as a technical expert in metering systems and revenue metering. They will support interconnection and large customer projects ensuring accurate and compliant metering for billing and operational purposes. The role involves collaboration with regulatory agencies such as CAISO and the Energy Imbalance Market and includes contributing to the continuous improvement of metering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design configure and implement metering solutions for interconnection and PPA projects
- Ensure compliance with CAISO EIM and other industry regulations
- Serve as a metering SME for complex projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize performance
- Provide technical guidance and drive final metering decisions
- Lead metering-related continuous improvement initiatives
Required Experience:
- Extensive hands-on experience with metering and revenue metering systems
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance in metering (e.g. CAISO EIM)
- Proven success solving complex metering challenges
- Strong leadership in project and team environments
