Job Description
Location: Marble Falls TX 78654
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform and direct respiratory care services such as oxygen and aerosol therapy.
- Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations.
- Collaborate effectively with attending physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Deliver care that meets clinical excellence standards and follows established protocols.
- Adhere to infection control HIPAA regulations and hospital policies.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and advance clinical and technical skills relevant to respiratory care.
- Ensure a safe professional and positive work environment for both patients and colleagues.
- Knowledge of respiratory modalities therapies equipment and medications.
- Ability to read write and follow clinical protocols.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in general computer use including EMR systems data entry and email.
- Education: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or 2 years of equivalent work experience beyond the minimum qualification.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience required.
- Certifications/Licenses:
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP): Licensed by the State of Texas.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT): Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
