JOB TITLE: Material Expeditor
LOCATION: New Boston TX
PAY RATE: $24.71/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:
-
Expedites routes and dispatches materials and parts in alignment with production schedules and operational commitments.

Reviews the master production schedule to identify actual or potential material shortages notifying appropriate personnel of any risks.

Generates progress reports detailing schedule status and maintains records of completed orders.
-
Takes corrective action to expedite materials including requesting repairs for damaged items or coordinating internal material transport.

Communicates updates related to completion dates material substitutions shortages and scheduling changes.
Requirements:
-
High school diploma required
-
Minimum 2 years of forklift experience
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (minimum 1 year)

Experience working in a team-based environment
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
-
Safety shoes are required
-
Candidates must complete the following while on assignment:

Forklift Physical

Forklift Certification
-

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
