Reporting to the Purchasing Manager the Expeditor/Storekeeper will ensure prompt delivery of materials and services by communicating with vendors and department heads on the status of critical orders and eliminating difficulties and delays. The Expeditor/Storekeeper will ensure Central Supply and Departments are properly stocked and organized.
Responsibilities
Facilitating the flow of materials to and from various departments.
Ensures supplies in departments and central supply are well stocked and organized.
Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries.
Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt as needed.
Unload packages from incoming trucks.
Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity quality price etc.).
Complete inventory counts as required.
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
Work as a team with the Materials Management Staff.
Deliveries to affiliated clinics and skilled nursing facilities located offsite.
All other duties as needed or assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data.
Basic math and recording abilities.
Excellent organizational skills.
Great communication and interpersonal abilities.
Education & Experience
High School Graduate or equivalent.
One year of expediting experience is preferred.
Job Type: Per-Diem Variable Shift
Pay: $25.00 to $28.00 hourly
