Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Level 3) to lead a high-visibility implementation project involving the replacement of an Invoice Tracking System. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in managing complex enterprise-level projects in both Agile and traditional environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale implementation projects across multiple departments
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear communication between stakeholders and technical teams
- Develop and manage project schedules budgets deliverables and change requests
- Track project scope risks issues and develop contingency plans
- Create and present weekly project status reports
- Manage stakeholder relationships and maintain strong communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate and monitor Agile sprint activities and deliverables
- Ensure alignment of business requirements with technical specifications
- Guide teams through the full SDLC process
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- PMP Certification (must be listed on resume; proof may be requested)
- 10 years of experience managing large-scale implementation projects in enterprise environments
- Expertise in SDLC project tracking risk/issue management and stakeholder reporting
- Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills
- Experience facilitating Agile development and managing sprints
- Experience working in fast-paced collaborative environments
- Ability to escalate and summarize issues appropriately
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working with State or Government agencies
- Experience in Public Health or Healthcare domain
- Familiarity with Agile best practices within government or regulated environments
Work Schedule & Location:
- Hybrid role: 3 days remote 2 days onsite (Thursday & Friday) at a location in Austin TX
- Normal working hours: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM CT
