Job Description
Job Summary:
On behalf of our client we are seeking a competent and results-driven Accountant with a solid foundation in auditing to support their financial operations. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing detailed accounting reports and must have previous experience working in an auditing firm
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
- Manage financial records in accordance with regulatory standards
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounts ledgers and bank statements
- Ensure tax compliance and support tax filing processes
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts
- Provide support during audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Analyze financial trends and provide reports to management
- Monitor daily transactions accounts payable and receivable
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- CPA/ACCA certification is an added advantage
- At least 3 years of experience in an accounting or audit-related role.
- Must have worked in an auditing firm
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and under deadlines
