Job Description
To support the CFO in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting Department Responsible for assisting with all aspects of corporate accounting to ensure compliance with company policy and GAAP and ensure protection of company assets. To assist site management with matters related to accounting.
This position may be required to work some weekends evenings and holidays. This position may be required to fill in for other positions during absences.
This position will require an extended period of training of 6-12 months at the site in Oxford Alabama.
Qualifications :
1 years in a fast paced accounting department preferably in a manufacturing setting
Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
Bachelors degree in Accounting or the equivalent experience
Experience in making balance sheet reconciliations
Experience with Monthly and Year-end closing processes
Experience assisting with semi-annual and year-end audits
Understanding of manufacturing costing processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work without direct supervision
Strong customer service skills and sense of urgency
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong attention to detail
Near perfect attendance record
