Job Description

Were expanding our People Team at our Perth Head Office team and looking for an additional Talent Acquisition Support to help us meet growing demand across our Roads and Port Logistic Operations.

This is a fixed term role (612 months) with the potential to extend as the business continues to grow.

With a strong pipeline of workforce needs across Geraldton and the Mid-West Region sites this newly created role is all about pace ownership and results.

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment process from job posting to offer negotiation
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to build a strong candidate pipeline
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create accurate job descriptions
  • Screen resumes conduct initial interviews and coordinate with hiring teams
  • Utilise our Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) Smart Recruiters to manage candidate information.
  • Leverage social media platforms and professional networks to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices and provide practical advice to improve sourcing attraction and process efficiency
  • Represent the company at suitable job fairs and networking events to promote employer brand
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Willingness to travel to site regularly to support hiring managers and stay connected to operational needs

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (experience using Smart Recruiters would be highly desirable but not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their application in recruitment
  • Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies particularly with passive candidates
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Understanding of industries and job markets similar to Newhaul
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
