- Take ownership of month-end close for the Qantas Airlines segment
- Work with your Finance Business Partners to build annual budgets refresh monthly forecasts and prepare other related reporting in the Airline Performance & Analysis portfolio
- Permanent full-time position based at Qantas Corporate Campus in Mascot

The Airline Performance & Analysis team is responsible for ensuring financial processes and reporting are standardised controlled and efficiently executed across Qantas Airlines segment. As a centralised FP&A function we partner closely with both finance and operational stakeholders to enable informed data-driven decision-making.
As a Senior Financial Analyst within the Airline Performance & Analysis team you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality financial insights and reporting. Your responsibilities will span month-end close forecasting and performance analysis with a strong emphasis on consolidating inputs from multiple business units and producing clear actionable commentary for senior stakeholders.
Youll have:
- Professional accounting qualifications (CA/CPA qualified)
- Experience in a financial accounting role with 5 years experience
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong attention to detail working with large volumes of often complex data
- Motivated self-starter with questioning mind/ analytical skills
- Able to provide value-add analysis and advice
- Able to work under time pressure and reprioritise when required
- High level of accountability and resilience
