Student-Focused Financial Aid Support:
Assist students in person by phone and via email with questions about aid eligibility applications disbursements and refunds
Guide students through documentation requirements and help schedule appointments with Financial Aid Officers
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with institutional and federal regulations
Impactful Work in Higher Education:
Help students access the financial resources they need to succeed
Support the financial aid process from inquiry to documentation
Contribute to a welcoming inclusive and student-centered environment
Collaborative & Growth-Oriented Environment:
Work closely with Enrollment and Student Services teams
Participate in training and development opportunities
Gain valuable experience in higher education operations
Key Responsibilities:
Student Support & Communication
Provide accurate information about financial aid eligibility and application processes
Respond to inquiries and help students navigate aid documentation
Schedule appointments and escalate complex issues to senior staff
Administrative & Data Management
Perform data entry record maintenance and report generation
Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and institutional policies
Support short- and long-term departmental goals
Team Collaboration & Outreach
Participate in cross-functional initiatives and training
Represent CWI values through professional and courteous service
Travel between campus locations and work occasional evening hours as needed
What Were Looking For:
One year of professional experience working with students in a postsecondary setting or three years in an office environment (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Windows Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong cross-cultural interpersonal and written communication skills
Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)
Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring managers discretion. All candidates must reside within or be willing to relocate to a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
