The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the overall administration and operations of the branch. This role involves overseeing all operational financial and administrative aspects ensuring efficient workflow and supporting strategic business objectives.
Key Job Responsibilities
Manage staff workflow and branch operational areas including new business technology support facilities expenses and marketing/CRM programs.
Develop and implement efficient procedures throughout the branch acting as a catalyst for change and growth.
Coordinate all workflow and staff activities in support of branch operations.
Partner with the EVP to formulate and implement quarterly annual and long-term business plans.
Monitor strategic action plans and propose alternatives to overcome obstacles.
Provide input and counsel to the complex on branch operation and support issues.
Coordinate SPEN costs and worksheets.
Support management of branch expenses implementing cost controls.
Support and direct associates on service new business and commission-related issues.
Evaluate branch workflow processes for resource efficiency.
Oversee office activities and coordinate on-site activities of branch personnel.
Source interview hire and retain qualified talent to support branch operations.
Responsible for annual performance management of operations staff.
Provide hands-on onboarding support for new recruits ensuring a smooth transition.
Manage day-to-day office operations including facilities management network infrastructure and security systems.
Organize and maintain local branch files and records.
Coordinate recruiting processes and systems for new financial advisors.
Track and report on onboarding processes to align with organizational requirements.
Plan and coordinate local branch and complex events ensuring alignment with budgetary and objective expectations.
Contribute and actively participate in Complex SME skill sets and drive core process adoption across geographic branch and Complex systems.
The base salary range for this position is $55000 - $75000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills experience and geographical location. In addition to base pay Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases spot bonuses and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.
