Innovate and Lead: Solve complex problems related to environmental investigations and remediation delivering tailored solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.

Deliver Excellence: Oversee proposal development lead contract negotiations and ensure every project is delivered on time on budget and with unwavering client satisfaction.

Environmental Risk Management: Oversee the environmental risk management
processes ensuring the organizations operations have minimal detrimental impact on
the environment.
Environmental Impact Assessment: Coordinate specific elements of environmental
impact assessments with guidance from senior colleagues.
Climate Adaptation Strategy: Guide an operational area in the creation and
implementation of highly complex climate adaptation strategies for vital or large-scale
projects preempting potential climate risks.
Analysis of As Is and To Be: Document complex as is and to be processes and
describe the changes required to migrate to the to be capability to record accurately
the change required.
Solutions Analysis: Identify and evaluate complex expertise-led solutions against a range
of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs.
Client Issue Diagnosis: Collate and conduct analysis of the tactical and operational
information gathered through interviews and research to support the diagnosis of
underlying client issues and problems and the design of single solutions.
Client & Customer Management (External): Manage important client relationships with
guidance from senior colleagues or oversee relationship management with a group of
more transactional clients and customers.
Community of Practice Management: Participate in and contribute to a community of
practice in a defined area of expertise or consulting to build own capability and develop
innovative practice among colleagues.
Project Management: Manage a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior
colleagues.
Health Safety and Environment: Monitor and review performance against health
safety and environment (HSE) key performance indicators (KPIs) and patterns of
behavior within the area of responsibility. Take action to improve performance and to
resolve noncompliance with the organizations HSE policies procedures and mandatory
instructions.
Personal Capability Building: Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology
policy regulation or operational management for the team. Maintain external
accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation
and industry best practices through continuing professional development attending
conferences and reading specialist media.
Organizational Capability Building: Use the organizations formal development
framework to identify the teams individual development needs. Plan and implement
actions including continuing professional development specified by professional or
regulatory institutions to build their professional capabilities. Provide informal training
or coaching to others throughout the organization in own area of expertise to enable
others to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
Request for Bid Solicitation/Proposal/Tender Response: Gather information and
resources draft and complete proposals and fulfill all process requirements (in terms of
deadlines documentation etc.) in response to complex bid solicitations request for
proposal and request for tender to create the best chance of being awarded the
contract.
Education
Bachelors Degree or advanced degree in Engineering Geology or Science (Professional Licensure a plus).
Experience
Familiarity with railway-specific challenges including compliance with federal/state environmental regulations and permitting processes.
A deep understanding of U.S. EPA and state environmental regulations multimedia remedial technologies and methods for site characterization and hydrogeologic analysis.
General Experience: Wide and deep experience providing expert competence (Over 10
years to 15 years)
Managerial Experience: Experience of supervising and directing people and other
resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes (13 months to 3
years)
