This position is full-time Monday to Friday with flexible hours in Mississauga and is exclusively on-site.
What will your day-to-day look like
Develop advanced full-stack AI/ML tools for applications in aerospace engineering including defect detection design optimization field data analysis and knowledge modeling.
Provide technical leadership in the areas of AI software engineering algorithm development and deployment
Responsible for driving projects from inception to completion.
What do you need to be successful
Strong foundational knowledge in statistics & AI (search algorithms probabilistic models optimization neural networks transformers).
Bachelors degree with 4 to 8 years experience or Masters degree with 2 to 4 years experience in engineering or computer science. Specialization in AI or ML is desirable.
Strong fluency in Python and a compiled language such as C Fortran or Rust
Knowledge of Python testing frameworks such as pytest
Advanced experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
Data analysis and machine learning for aerospace applications
Expertise in modern data & AI frameworks: PyTorch Scikit-learn Databricks Langchain LlamaIndex
Experience with MLOps and deploying to distributed GPU environments
Experience developing for cloud-based platforms (AWS Azure)
Experience is professional software development including using revision management systems like Git or SVN.
Experience using DevOps and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps (ADO)
Familiarity with Agile project management and software development methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe
Experience in Docker or k8s is desirable
