Job Description
Job Title: Database Administrator- Expert (Onsite)
Location: Raleigh NC
Duration: 12 Months
Expected Skills: Able to work in a team environment as well as without assistance; can provide input and feedback to others; able to manage highly complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have extensive industry experience.
Description (including but not limited to):
Skills:
Skill Required/Desired Amount of Experience Understand data structures and schemas and implementing appropriate indexes 3 Years Able to create logical and physical models of data to represent relationships and ensure data integrity 5 Years Working knowledge of DB2 and SQL Server database management systems (DBMS) 3 Years Understanding of the process of extracting data from various sources transforming it and loading it into a database 5 Years Use of at least one data cleansing tool 2 Years Able to create and execute test cases 5 Years Able to identify and resolve issues within the data cleansing process Highly desired 3 Years Able to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Highly desired 3 Years Must meet deadlines and manage multiple streams of work 5 Years Able to dissect complex problems and derive insights from large datasets Highly desired 3 Years

Description (including but not limited to):
- Data analysis and database management
- Designing of data dictionaries physical and logical database models and performance tuning
- Creation of requirements for database database schema data maps ERDs application objects (i.e. tables indexes views etc.)
- Creation of data rules to identify areas for data cleansing
- Conducting data profiling data analysis data cleansing database design database implementation data conversion and data governance for the client data
