Job Description

AMSA Food Service AssistantAMSA Charter School is looking to hire two part-time 20 hour per week Food Service Assistants for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are interested in working with us part time we are looking for your help!AMSA does not currently have a working kitchen on-site. School lunches are provided by our catering vendor and delivered daily. The Food Service Assistants responsibilities are:Set up the Food Service line for daily lunch. Lunch is provided by the school caterer in sealed individual containers and not cooked on delivered meals to students. Clean all food service areas lunch trays and tabletops in the school cafeteria on a daily and sweep the kitchen and cafeteria on a daily basis (and if needed mop as well).Trash removal: Empty all trash barrels in the cafeteria. This includes tying the bags and placing them into the dumpster (note - need to be able to lift up to 30lbs) as well as relining the barrels with clean Type: Part-time 10:00 am 2:00 pm Pay: $17.00 per hour
