Job Description
Job Title: Track Nationals Video Production Technician (Part-Time/Temporary)
Reporting Relationship: Associate A.D. of External Operations
Unit: IWU-Marion
Department:Athletics-IWU Marion
Campus Location: Recreation & Wellness Center Marion IN
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and tear down equipment used in multicamera video production including (but not limited to) cameras tripods cables camera support structures television set structures
- Operate cameras audio consoles replay units and all other positions related to live event production
Qualifications:According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education
- Able to learn the operation of broadcast cameras and associated video equipment
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
- Able to learn proper techniques in single camera shooting and video editing
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 30 pounds
- Any previous Video Production experience is a plus
Experience
- Live multi camera video production
Required Skills
- Standing for long periods (2 hours)
- Lifting (30 pounds minimum)
- Video and audio signal paths
- Studio style camera operation
