Job Description
The Jones Center/ Jones Trust are seeking qualified bright smiling faces to join our team. Are you looking for an environment where your talent and skill are appreciated with an opportunity to make a difference In this fast-paced position you will be responsible for creating a positive impression of The Jones Center creating a clean and safe environment in our facilities/housekeeping staff report directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager. Housekeeping staff members are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas handling cleaning supplies operating equipment and creating a safe environment for patrons and staff.
**This is a part-time position***
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas
- Handling cleaning supplies and operating equipment in safe manner
- Creating a safe environment for patrons and staff
- You must be able to adapt to the changing needs of the facility in order to maintain cleanliness.
- Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to reach arms above head bend and twist as needed during normal cleaning duties.
Previous janitorial experience preferred. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
