Under direct supervision an Analyst in Securities Processing is responsible for timely and accurate processing of trade settlement instructions. The Analyst will be responsible for communicating with various internal and external partners to facilitate the accurate and timely settlement of trades as well as the timely resolution of inquiries and exceptions related to trade settlement. In this role the analyst will be required to develop a depth and breadth of knowledge related to securities and market guidelines to understand the settlement requirements. This is an entry level position with opportunity to develop professionally.

Major Duties

Ensure timely and accurate settlement of trade activity per instructions received from various source systems.

Provide support to internal partners through timely resolution of settlement inquiries to meet client needs.

Research and resolve exceptions related the settlement activity.

Communicate with internal and external parties to review and resolve settlement discrepancies to ensure timely settlement.

Work effectively as a team member but also independently.

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple functions prioritizing where necessary to meet established service level agreements.

Knowledge/Skills

Proven ability to effectively perform in a multi-tasking and deadline-oriented environment to ensure critical deadlines are met. Proven interpersonal analytical organizational detail oriented attention to detail and problem-solving skills required. Ability to effectively communicate both in an oral/written manner with peers and partners with proven presentation skills a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team environment exhibiting initiative and flexibility. Proficiency with MS Office.

Experience

A College or University degree or relevant work experience is preferred.

Salary Range:

$43200 - 64800 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
