  • Brisbane CBD location / hybrid WFH

The purpose of this role is to facilitate and co-ordinate business improvement activities across Vero SME underwriting. Using underwriting performance insights the Business Improvement Analyst will work with Underwriting Managers and the Underwriting Teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service process and system improvements with the objective to positively impact customer experience and underwriting profitability. The Business Improvement Analyst is responsible for effectively collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the end outcome is aligned to and supports the SME Underwriting business requirements considers risk mitigation and delivers improved ways of working.

What youll do:

  • Identification analysis prioritisation and execution of continuous improvement initiatives across process delivery models and tools supporting Vero SME underwriting operations including the tracking and reporting of benefits
  • Support Business Improvement Specialist to develop the most effective and efficient underwriting operation
  • Create and maintain a process inventory to allow ease of future analysis to support changes
  • Implementation and oversight of resource models and key metrics to ensure the underwriting business is efficiently and effectively resourced
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for end to end operational improvement reducing the number of handoffs and friction points.

What youll bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years insurance industry experience mandatory
  • Experience in similar business improvement role
  • Highly developed communication skills with experience at a range of levels of management
  • Expertise in develop innovation solutions to complex problems
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate and analyse data and draw conclusions.
