In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate verify and validate our products. We put our systems together exercise them in the lab or in the field measure and analyze performance and make sure our products work the first time and every time.
To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces develop test environments and work hand-in-hand with our customers.
We are seeking a Senior Principal Integration Engineer to join our Engineering team in Aurora Colorado for the role of Product Owner.
What You Will Do
In this role you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions.
The Product Owner plans the teams scope to complete tasks timely and efficiently during each program increment. The teams scope involves ensuring that the programs complex suite of software and hardware subsystems are available and ready to support its mission.
In this role the Product Owner will report to the Chief Product Owner and will have an impact across various functions and program teams.
Responsibilities include managing multiple environments providing oversight to test automation managing various labs managing the teams backlog leading the team during program increment planning managing the teams capacity conducting retrospectives to continuously improve after each program increment and developing metric-driven BOEs in support of EAC as it relates to cost and schedule.
The Product Owner also participates in various program reviews and conducts presentations to the customer as well as senior program management.
Oversee and provide daily direction to the assigned Product Team.
Manage multiple factory environments across various locations and ensure their readiness and availability.
Manage the teams backlog and capacity during each program increment.
Provide test/checkout sizing for all initiatives added to the backlog that are not yet covered by regression tests.
Develop metric-driven BOEs and support LRE/EAC activities.
Regularly interact with the End-User (US Space Force) by managing and nurturing the business relationship managing expectations versus scope of contract proactively addressing emerging needs and identifying results.
Collaborate with the Chief Product Owner and align the Product Teams priorities with program leadership.
Coordinate resources and schedules using execution performance metrics.
Work independently determining and developing approaches to solutions.
Willingness to travel in support of offsite testing and meetings.
Work in an Agile program environment.
Work in a classified lab on-site in Aurora Colorado.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience.
Experience in Hands-on Integration and Test engineering Experience in Technical team leadership Experience with software deployment
Experience preparing and executing Integration and Regression procedures Experience troubleshooting and resolving software system execution problems
Experience with systems engineering principles and activities

Qualifications We Prefer
Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment 8 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree in (STEM).
Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking command and telemetry launch operations flight dynamics mission planning on-orbit operations)
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira Confluence Bitbucket) Experience in Software Deploy Automation experience in (Chef)
Experience in Test Automation experience in (Cucumber or Gherkin) Experience in transitioning systems to operations
Experience with Raytheon EclipseTM or Raytheon EquinoxTM Experience with Java C Python or Ruby Experience with Linux operating system
