You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAre you interested in designing reliable secure and scalable integration solutions At VELUX were looking for two Integration Engineers to join our new Global Integration Platform team in our Warsaw office. Youll play a key role in building our next-generation integration platform and empowering delivery teams across the organisation. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative people-focused environment where your work will improve our global digital ecosystem.
What you will be doing:
Your responsibilities will depend slightly on your background and interests with two complementary roles available:
One role will focus more on core platform capabilities building features such as observability error handling and automated testing/release pipelines that help other developers deliver faster and safer.
The other will dive deeper into designing and implementing integration flows and connectivity between source and target systems enabling our applications to talk to each other seamlessly and securely.
Together the roles will involve:
Contributing to the full lifecycle of our integration platform from design and build to deployment and operations.
Delivering and configuring the platform and supporting product teams who use it.
Defining integration standards and patterns to guide how we connect systems at VELUX.
Participating in real integration workload delivery showing what great looks like in practice.
Supporting onboarding of new teams to the platform through documentation automation and direct guidance.
Establishing frameworks for automated testing and applying observability to ensure integrations are resilient and traceable.
Collaborating closely with the Integration Platform Architect and Owner to shape and deliver on the roadmap.
You can expect 10 days of travel per year mostly within Europe. We support flexible work arrangements and are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment.
What we are looking for:
A solid understanding of integration patterns including both API-first and event-driven styles.
Experience with various integration technologies or platforms (commercial or open-source).
Ability to modernize legacy integration approaches using abstraction layers.
Practical experience with cloud-based integration tools (iPaaS) like MuleSoft Boomi Workato SnapLogic or Confluent.
Familiarity with CI/CD automation testing frameworks and observability tooling and methodologies.
Development experience with modern languages helpful for extending iPaaS platforms when needed.
Effective communication skills in English.
