Responsible for both Ocean Coastal network and Ocean Product routings; to design analyze and optimize network and service routes to achieve maximum operational efficiency cost-effectiveness schedule reliability and environmental sustainability.
Responsible:
1. Coastal European Network Design & Optimization
Responsible for the (co-)designing the Coastal European Network and scenario planning with a view to delivering defined schedule reliability cargo delivery targets at optimal cost
Lead analysis and initiatives such as service closures outsourcing and/or insourcing of services to optimize network and ensure reliable products to our customers
Ensures network is commercially viable operationally executable and delivering according to agreed Service Delivery and Reliability targets
2. Routing Optimization
Drive product optimization /cargo connection pattern incl. ocean/relay DG routings CTWs drive the preferred routing compliance ratio
Drive preferred routing compliance ratio
Full ownership of creating and maintaining business rules in Ocean routing system.
3. Operational Efficiency & Cost Reduction
Responsible for rightsizing of the module network on a quarterly basis through sharing of our volume needs with FEF operators and own assets owning the quarterly
Analyze trade-offs between cost service level and reliability.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
Ensure alignment of network and routing strategies with commercial goals and operational capabilities with close collaboration with Ocean Network Market OF/CF/Hub and Area commercial teams.
Engage with Procurement and Suppliers to provide optimal ocean products to customers.
