Were looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Sydney team for a 6 month contract. This role reports directly into the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible forreviewing all major sourcing and purchasing of goods and services to support business operations.
What does your day to day look like
- Develop and implement procurement strategies across categories including corporate technology facilities HR marketing sales and content.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing evaluation negotiation and contract execution.
- Review existing supplier relationships to ensure quality value and service delivery in line with contractual agreements whilst seeking best possible terms.
- Monitor procurement compliance with internal governance financial delegation policies and relevant legislation.
- Provide commercial guidance and support to internal stakeholders in supplier selection and contract management.
- Analyse market trends and spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Maintain procurement records and reporting systems to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Support risk management initiatives through supplier due diligence contract risk assessments and performance monitoring.
- Lead initiatives to embed sustainable diverse and ethical sourcing practices in line with corporate ESG objectives.
What youll need:
- 7 years experience in procurement or commercial contract management ideally within the media entertainment or technology sectors or an organisation withFTE.
- Demonstrated experience managing procurement processes and supplier negotiations across multiple spend categories.
- Strong understanding of procurement frameworks contract law and risk management principles.
