Description
Work hours and expectations:
- This is a Part-Time position that is paid a coaching stipend over the duration of thebasketball season - October-February
- Expected to be a devoted Christ follower who feels called to make disciples through the sport of basketball
- Expected to be at all practices and games
- Expected to spend time outside of practices and games to watch film and give productive feedback to staff.
- Expected to be passionate about the game and willing to put in the work to add value to the program
Primary Responsibilities: Offensive and/or Defensive Coordinator

- Mentor players in life and help them grow in their relationship with God
- Offensive Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Train and develop offensive skills and confidence in our athletes within our offense
- Scout opponents defense and collaborate with Head Coach
- Defensive Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Train and develop defensive skills and confidence in our athletes within our defense
- Scout opponents offense and collaborate with Head Coach
Specific Responsibilities:
- Support and promote the Head Coach vision of the program
- Add value to the program from personal coaching and/or playing experience
- Represent Fort Worth Christian and the girls basketball program in a professional manner and within the bounds of our code of conduct athletics handbook and good sportsmanship.
- Coach JV team if applicable.
Qualifications
- Devoted Christ-follower
- Committed to living and teaching a life of service to Christ in accordance with the FWC Statement of Faith and Beliefs
- Previous coaching experience or high-level playing experience
