CA - Westlake VillageWhat youll do:
As a Quality Control Loan Processor youll be responsible for the review and delivery of loan files to investors whether they be agency or private. Youll need to properly identify mortgage documents understand the FNMA Desktop Underwriter and FHLMC Loan Prospector able to understand income and asset requirements as outlined by the DU LP and applicable selling guides. Youll need to work with multiple deadlines simultaneously and be adaptable to shifting priorities or assignments.- Properly identify mortgage documents understand the FNMA Desktop Underwriter (DU) and FHLMC Loan Prospector (LP) documents and be able to understand income and asset requirements as outlined by the DU LP and other applicable selling guides.
- Work with multiple deadlines simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities or assignments.
What youll need:
- 1 years of related experience in Mortgage Quality Control or similar field.
- High school diploma required; Some college or technical training preferred.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including sales operations capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of FNMA FHLMC FHA USDA and VA guidelines.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of Federal Regulatory requirements.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) preferred.
