The Opportunity

The Industrial Capital Works team at Dexus play a critical role in enabling the true value within our Real Assets allowing our Asset teams and customers to thrive in their operations. To support the growing volume of upcoming Capital Works projects we are seeking a Project Manager to join our high performing busy and customer focused project delivery team.

Project Managers at Dexus deliver a first-class project delivery and consulting service through the scoping coordination planning delivery and administration of a range of capital works projects. Projects span industrial asset upgrades tenancy splits make-goods technical building services upgrades faade works hardstand works and more.

You will make an impact by:

• Leading project scoping planning and execution from design to post-completion.
• Managing procurement contracts and performance of consultants and contractors.
• Applying standardised tools and delivery models to ensure quality and consistency.
• Embedding WHS sustainability and corporate objectives into project scopes.
• Conducting cost planning value management and market analysis.
• Ensuring compliance with approvals risk management and tendering processes.
• Maintaining accurate cashflows and system updates.
• Administering contracts commitments and invoices.
• Leading stakeholder meetings and coordinating with service providers.
• Supporting Facility Managers with capex planning and budgeting.

About You

You are an adaptable Project Manager with sound communication and prioritisation skills. You apply critical thinking and innovative solutions to complex challenges. You bring will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Design Architecture Project Management Construction or related fields preferred (but not essential).
• Minimum 4 years experience in project management construction or building engineering ideally within live industrial environments.
• Solid understanding of statutory legislation including WHS Essential Services Regulations BCA and relevant Australian Standards.
• Familiarity with fire safety measures mechanical services structural works and make-good processes.
• Experience with stabilised industrial assets and capital works delivery in live environments is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite CAD and MS Project.
• Sound communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High attention to detail with excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Analytical thinker with sound judgement and problem-solving abilities.
• Skilled in negotiation conflict resolution and customer relationship management.
