Could you be our next Senior Director TA Portfolio Delivery Lead The job is located in the King of Prussia PA Waltham MA or Zurich-Glattburg Switzerland office. This is a hybrid position. You will report to the Executive Director.
Based on Therapeutic area Global role focuses on all elements both strategic and operational associated with R&D Program Management. Will oversee (1) Research Project Management (2) Development Planning & Project Management (3) TA Operations (4) Functional Project Management for the respective therapeutic area.
Responsibilities:
Strategic partner to leaders within the PD&C framework senior management project teams and governance committees providing portfolio insights assessments and an enterprise view of the portfolio to enable effective and proactive investment decision making
Analyse and interpret qualitative and quantitative portfolio data in order to provide recommendations on how best to increase portfolio value (near and long-term)
Communication of Portfolio progression and achievements to multiple stakeholders across the enterprise
Develop decision analysis capability including frameworks tools and techniques and execute relevant data analytics and insights for the CSL portfolio for key portfolio and project decisions
Monitor and incorporate aspects from external environment (e.g. benchmarks technology data insights etc.) to maintain and continually evolve/mature the CSL portfolio management capability
Actively contribute as a member of Portfolio and Performance Excellence Leadership Team
Under framework of PD&C accountable for development and maintenance of Governance structure(s)and related processes oversight and management of Governance materials and respective repositories
Talent/Management Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Leads a global group with a set of high-complexity high visibility objectives and interfaces
Requires oversight of a global multilevel function
Total of 6 staff members located in Europe US and Australia
Establish strategic priorities competency framework and performance expectations designed to support and develop talent to excel and grow professionally
Education & Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in science/business or relevant discipline essential preferably with post-graduate qualifications
Post-graduate qualifications in finance business administration or related field preferable
10 years pharmaceutical or biotech experience inclusive of demonstrated strong Portfolio Management and Team Leadership expertise
Proven understanding and experience in financial modelling
Executive presence and negotiation skills; Ability to effectively engage across the enterprise building constructive relationships to execute deliverables.
Demonstrated expertise in developing managing and controlling cross-functional project and portfolio data analytics
Expertise in the application and utilization of portfolio management systems and software
