Responsibilities
Design and develop complex requirements to accomplish business goals.
Ensure that software is developed to meet functional non-functional and compliance requirements.
Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.
Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.
Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
Design develop and maintain large scale mobile applications using Kotlin and Java.
Perform web service integration using REST JSON HTML XML and JavaScript to enable secure and seamless communication between mobile applications and backend services.
Engineer and perform continuous integration and continuous deployment and distribution using build tool version control and testdriven development tools including git Android Studio and UNIX.
Design test-driven automation frameworks using JUnit Mockito and Espresso to ensure code quality and reliability.
Analyze app performance and improve efficiency using tools including Android profiler.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Required Skills & Experience
Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science Computer Information Systems Management Information Systems Engineering (any) or related: and
3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
Designing developing and maintaining large scale mobile applications using Kotlin and Java;
Performing web service integration using REST JSON HTML XML and JavaScript to enable secure and seamless communication between mobile applications and backend services;
Engineering and performing continuous integration and continuous deployment and distribution using build tool version control and test-driven development tools including git Android Studio and UNIX;
Designing test-driven automation frameworks using JUnit Mockito and Espresso to ensure code quality and reliability; and
Analyzing app performance and improve efficiency using tools including Android profiler. Employer will accept pre- or post-Masters degree experience in meeting the minimum requirements.
